Tax Services
Tax issues can be complicated and painful, but at DMF, it doesn’t have to be. Yes, we file tax returns for individuals and businesses. But we do more than that. To us, tax planning & compliance is really a full-year activity, which requires mutual communication with our clients. We help our clients make the best decisions when it comes to their tax situation. And we also get a kick out of minimizing our clients’ tax liability.
Accounting & Auditing
If you’re interested in seeing how your business has performed, or maybe someone else is interested in your business performance (banks, lenders, regulating bodies), we offer 3 levels of services that will help you get a snapshot of your business portfolio.
Compilation: we work together to get your business’ financial information organized in such a way that a story is told about your business: where it’s been, where it is, and where it’s headed. No evidence or opinions are issued on compilations; they are strictly a data based representation of your business.

Review: with this level of service we utilize the data gathered during the compilation phase and throw in a little added assurance from our firm. At this level of service, we gather limited evidence that will help support management’s representation of the financial statements.

| Audit: at this level, we conduct a formal examination of your business assets. Our firm is gathering enough evidence for us to provide reasonable assurances that your financial statements are fairly presented. Since an audit is the highest level of assurance we offer, it is also associated with the highest level of rigor and detail. |
Bookkeeping & Payroll
If you’re in business for yourself, we understand the craziness of day to day operations. We’re a small business, too, so we get it.
