What is a CPA?

A CPA or Certified Public Accountant is a professional who is distinguished from other accountants by strict and demanding education and licensing requirements. A CPA is licensed by the state to provide various financial and business advisory services. It also means the individual has passed an exhaustive nationwide examination on accounting theory, accounting practice, taxation, auditing and business law. In most states, the CPA is also required to pass an examination on accounting and business ethics. In addition, CPAs are required to complete approximately forty hours per year of acceptable continuing education, in order to remain current on changes in tax law and accounting practices, as well as other areas of study to better serve their clients.

WE LOVE REFERRALS!

Do you know a good CPA?  Ever heard this question?  Well, plenty of people have and plenty of them have referred business to us in the past.  We’ve received lots of great clients from people simply referring us to their friend, neighbor, or co-worker.  There’s no greater compliment than to have someone pass our card on to someone else.

So go ahead and pass us around.  You won’t regret it.
